Buckets of Yarn: Crochet My Life

I am obsessed with crochet. It is an illness, like my love of fabric and books. I try to get it under control by making rules for my buckets of yarn like….Thou Shalt Not Return Whole Skeins of Yarn To Your Yarn Buckets. I am supposed to return them to the store for credit. Or, in a crazy, misguided wisp of a rule possibility….Thou Shalt Not Add To Your Yarn Woes. Meaning, I would be throwing away all ends of yarns. That doesn’t seem likely, although I am not hucking the possibility altogether. I love to crochet. I love yarn. I make beautiful things with yarn. When I am not busy crafting my own patterns, my favorite sites for free patterns include: crochet page

I have created a blanket for each member of my immediate family and one for my mom and dad.

Here is the one for my husband:

Finally, this one is the biggest and baddest. I made it for Alex, my lovely daughter. She doesn’t get her crochet quilt until she graduates in June.

I made myself sweaters and scarves and fingerless gloves. I used my crochet talents to make my son the cast from Spongebob Squarepants. The adventures never end with crochet. I create lovely items for myself and or sale in my etsy store. Follow my crochet battles and victories and we creative joyful crochet!
